08:30 pm - Quick Update Morale's low right now for a variety of reasons:    - Busier than ever.    - Sick at the moment    - Current housing    - Chances of having web past Monday are slim at best. Expect chances of killing parents to rise exponentially.    - Job hunting sucks. Seriously now, I've been looking for over half a year now.    - Dead vehicle.    - Above two will make starting up college again really fun.    - Single status. 09:48 pm - A Good Nap Gone Bad So, after work today I found myself both tired and home alone. I decided to have a quick nap on the couch upstairs, because I felt bad for not spending too much time with the family dog (who apparently enjoys just being in the vicinity of people she likes). Anyways, cue a nice rest. Until I start dreaming of being around a "conversation" between my mother and sister (more like an exercise in spewing words). They're talking about the stupidest things, and I can seem to find a way out of the room we're in. And of course, anyone who reads this and has met them, knows that their grammar is horrific and it's very, very difficult to both get a word in the middle of their talking, much less get a response back. So, I won't go into gritty details, but did end up waking to them in the living room, talking about the same things as always. I swear, there has to be an off switch SOMEWHERE on one of them. Not only that, but the new owners, SixApart, are lying to users about these new "changes" and "business plans." They don't believe that users are important to this site! We're going to show them that without us here writing about our lives, there will be no site left! We're going on strike! The user beckyzoole originally proposed that we do a strike on March 21st from midnight GMT - midnight GMT March 22nd. If you wish to participate, here's the plan, copy and pasted from many LJ's, and compiled into this: Content Strike Friday March 21, from midnight to midnight GMT We are holding the Content Strike because we want to demonstrate that LiveJournal is content-driven. We are holding the Content Strike because we want the new owners of LiveJournal to better understand the power and resolve of the LJ Community of Users. 01:10 am - Screw Walmart Haven't posted in a while. What's new? Anyway, I'll work on posting more often. Major events in the day included playing in a Morningtide MTG release tournament. Went alright, and I ended up coming home with 140% more cards than I paid for. Decklisting for the crazy ones out there. And to top off my day, I went to Walmart in search of flowers to cheer up a certain someones day, only to find out that I couldn't afford any of their selection. Not very pleasing at all.
